Storytelling With Google Sites
Did you think Google Sites was only for making websites? Oh no... they can be so much more! In this session, we're going to explore how we can use Google Sites for creative storytelling. You'll learn how to embed 360° images for interactive photos, sound files, pictures, and videos to make your stories come alive. We'll even put in some good old-fashioned choose-you-own adventure too!
Breakout EDU Digital
Come try the digital version of the hit game Breakout EDU where players look for clues to solve a number of puzzles. In this session we will play in teams to see who can best work collaboratively to be the first team to break out. We will also learn how to create our own Breakout EDU Digital games.
Forms for Documentation
In this session, participants will learn how to use Google Forms to track anecdotal observations for report card comments. First you’ll create a basic Google Form. Then we’ll show you’ll learn how to organize all of the anecdotal observations you collect over the year. Best of all, you’ll learn how to use the voice-to-text feature on your cell phone to make collecting data even more efficient. When report card time rolls around, you'll have tons of anecdotal evidence to more easily build your individualized report card comments. You’ll get the most out of this session if you come prepared with a class list of your students’ first and last names.
